TierraMitica: 7th Mythic Voyage, 1st at TierraMitica

The 7th Mythic Voyage, the first ever at TierraMitica, took place while workers were still finishing Okopua. We only had accommodation ready for few people, because of all the delays we had from the torrential rains that extended the rain season by over 3 months!! an event that only happens, according to the locals, every 25-30 years. Through the herculean efforts and love of all the volunteers and employs of TierraMitica, it turned out to be a great success!!

We had seven argonauts, two of them volunteers at TierraMitica (Sara and Ferd). It was all we could handle on this first Mythic Voyage while Theo was a beautiful hostess who took care of us like a true mother and Benjamin directed the workers, took care of everything and kept our bubble safe and secure.

The Argonauts meet our Shipibo Shamans at Okopua

It was a first for our Shipibo maestras and maestros. They saw the Tambo, their home that we had built for them, their kitchen and bathrooms according to their habits so that they feel at home in TierraMitica, comfortable and with all their needs taken care of. They loved Babushka, our outdoor ceremonial site and spent lots of time admiring our gate and all the symbols on it.

We needed all their love and attention because although with fewer than usual participants the Mythic Voyage was super strong and amazing transformations happened. Gabriela, Mikael, Alex, Asia, Sara , Ferd and myself, Mikis, all had amazing life changing experiences and shared a new level of awareness.

All in all, a true Mythic Voyage!!!
