Craftsmen building Okopua with a Smile

Okopua is the name, chosen by Charles for our home in TierraMitica. This is the first building in TierraMitica and is to serve as the home for everybody- volunteers, participants to the Mythic Voyages and permanent residents of TierraMitica until the Bungalows, the Cabanas and the Tambos are built. It is in a clearing surrounded by ancient trees as well as many fruit bearing ones. Behind it is a small stream and it is perfectly placed at the edge of TierraMitica, across the river from the site of the main maloca, our ceremonial temple. When the sun hits the rocks and trees in the clearing around the altar we have made, the butterflies spontaneously come and grace us with their gentle presence.

There are several bedrooms, a kitchen, bathrooms, and a living & dining area (with a view over the temple area and the great mountains).

At One With Nature

It will take another week or two before it is over and we can move in, but it shows amazing promise. We are basically missing the roof, floors and windows but like everything else in TierraMitica it is being built at warp speed.







This place is truly going to be a haven of Love for the part of our family that live there.
Once completed we will be moving permanently to the Land.
